News: 3 days agoMinshew completed 18 of 28 passes for 194 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 10-6 win over New England.

Spin: The Colts were able to rely heavily on Jonathan Taylor to escape with the win, as he carried the ball 23 times compared to Minshew's 28 pass attempts. Despite the limited volume, Minshew made plays when needed, including a 28-yard completion to Josh Downs to help clinch the victory. While he's helped the Colts to wins, Minshew now has one or fewer touchdowns in four of the six games he's started.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Minshew signed with the Colts during the offseason and the veteran will back up rookie Anthony Richardson. After tossing 37 TDs and 11 INTs during two seasons (23 games) in Jacksonville, Minshew played four full games in relief of Jalen Hurts during two seasons with the Eagles. He averaged a solid 17.2 fantasy PPG during those outings. Minshew's career efficiency is right around league average and he adds a little bit of value with his legs. He'd be on the back-end QB2 radar if called on to start, but that makes him appealing only as a stash in deep, superflex formats.
